Globally, one in seven people lack safe, year-round access to critical services and opportunities due to a lack of transportation infrastructure. Bridges to Prosperity envisions a world where poverty caused by rural isolation no longer exists. Incorporated in 2001, we build and advocate for cost-effective, scalable, and sustainable infrastructure that connects rural, isolated communities. The organization has built bridges to better lives in 21 countries providing connection for more than 1.3 million people. We have earned our reputation as a leading rural transport infrastructure provider and trusted partner of local and regional governments, beneficiary communities, and mission-driven corporations worldwide. Bridges to Prosperity partners with corporate leaders from all over the world to solve the problem of poverty caused by rural isolation by giving them the opportunity of sponsoring the construction of one or more bridges, with the possibility of sending a group of volunteers to build the superstructure of the sponsored bridge together with our construction team, during a 2 weeks long adventure in East Africa.
