Professor Xiaolin Meng is Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation, Professor of Intelligent Mobility, and Theme Leader of Positioning and Navigation Technologies at the University of Nottingham. He is the founding director of the Sino-UK Geospatial Engineering Centre – an international centre for satellite technology exchange. He is also a Special Professor at the Chinese Academy of Surveying and Mapping and Wuhan University (China) respectively. He has been leading multi-million ESA and Innovate UK projects on structural health monitoring and driverless vehicles and an author of more 320 journal and conference publications. He is the Chair of many international associations and a member of the editorial boards for leading international journals.
