Senior Structures Advisor, National Highways

Ananda has over 25 years experience in design, construction, and project management of various complex civil engineering projects. Currently working for National Highways, he ensures the public safety of our Strategic Road Network (SRN) in the Midlands Region by delivering projects to achieve safety, quality, technicality and budget to challenging deadline and ultimately to improve our customer service.

He has worked in the UK and Qatar, Sri Lanka as a senior technical lead/senior advisor and for multi-disciplinary UK consultancy firms as a senior bridge/team leader, providing specialist consultancy service to major clients such as National Highways, Local Authorities and London Underground Limited.

He is experienced in design, construction, inspection, assessment, strengthening and improvement of highway bridges, footbridges, tunnels/underpasses, retaining walls, buildings and car parks of different structural forms and materials.
