Joanne Saunders

Joanne Saunders is a Chartered Civil Engineer and has been working with Ringway for the past twelve years. Focusing on highway structures, Jo recently led the Structures Team on the IOW Highways PFI contract heading up a programme of BCI improvements, strengthening and parapet upgrades. Throughout her career, Jo has been committed to innovation and was an ICE President’s Apprentice in 2014/15. This led on to her role as Innovation Manager at Eurovia where she developed several initiatives and co-authored a paper ‘How can the management of bridges relate to the UN Sustainable Development Goals?’. Jo has recently been promoted to Business Manager for the IOW Highways PFI contract, now responsible for a broader range of highway improvement services.
